About Rod Cruz
Mr Cruz currently serves AT&T’s Healthcare customers as the Healthcare Solutions General Manager. His team is responsible for developing corporate strategy, go-to-market, sales execution and offer development for Providers, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Device Manufactures and Payors.
Prio to his current assignment, Mr. Cruz’s responsibilities were focused on leading the service relationship with AT&T’s largest multi-national customers in the Southwest and all Wholesale customers in the United States. His teams managed the overall customer stewardship, service delivery and service assurance engagements among other service support activities. His organization owned the end-to-end customer service experience and customer satisfaction for AT&T’s most strategic clients.
In addtion, he spent four years in a sales capacity, leading a team of Healthcare sales professionals focused on delivering Healthcare solutions to help AT&T’s Healthcare customers solve business problems and empowering them to improve outcomes.
Mr. Cruz began his career with AT&T in 1994 and brings a wide variety of experiences to the position, including network, operations, mobility, regulatory, wholesale product marketing, consumer & business marketing and sales. In addition, Mr. Cruz spent three years in Mexico City working abroad with AT&T’s strategic partner, TELMEX on Wholesase Regulatory issues, sales support and launching the first co-branded product between the companies.
Mr. Cruz earned his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, and has a Master’s Certificate in Telecommunications Management and Project Management. He is a member of Project Management Institute, Institute of Industrial Engineering and the American Marketing Association.
Mr. Cruz enjoys yoga, cycling, baseball & coaching youth sports for his children’s teams. He and his wife Natalie reside in Dallas, TX.
