Karen Finger is Global Lead, Connected Health Strategy and Innovation for Verizon’s Global Enterprise Healthcare and Life Sciences solutions ecosystem. Karen brings over 25+ years of Industry, IT and Communications technology leadership working with many of the largest companies in the world, leading teams, spearheading digital transformation, building trusted strategic partnerships and pioneering industry leading platforms that deliver improved outcomes. Prior to Verizon, she was an early entrant in the Telehealth and Telemedicine industry where she had the opportunity to lead the commercialization strategies for both non-profit and for-profit start-up and early-stage telehealth and telemedicine companies focused on the transformation of care delivery. In her current role, Karen is dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build secure, connected health platforms that revolutionize patient care, accelerate operational efficiencies and enable clinical innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare. Karen is a passionate advocate for shaping the future of healthcare by creating opportunities for collaboration with Providers, Payers, Retail Health, and Medtech Partners that democratize and extend access to care, improve the patient and provider experience, reduce costs, expand growth and deliver improved quality and health outcomes. Karen holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Florida. Outside of work, Karen has been an active volunteer and Industry leader having served on the board of Emerge Scholarships devoted to economic empowerment for women, as well as served as President of the Association of Telecommunications Professionals, and currently sits on the Executive Advisory Board for the Atlanta Technology Professionals dedicated to connecting, learning and giving back. She enjoys Orange Theory workouts (when they are over), Pickleball, fostering rescue dogs and spending time with her two, adult children.
