Heather has been appointed as a Pillar of Excellence Leader of the Healthcare Internet of Things Center of Excellence. Heather Hudnall is a registered nurse with over 15+ years of industry experience in healthcare in the clinical setting, nursing informatics, and healthcare technology. She is the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at NTT DATA and a pioneer for clinicians as the first ever to hold this title at the company. In her role, she is focused on providing leadership around healthcare decisions and strategy within the organization, along with partnering with healthcare organizations to consult and advise on innovative strategies to solve their biggest challenges, best practices and workflows leveraging emerging technologies to deliver quality outcomes. Heather is a thought leader within the healthcare industry providing a clinical perspective and an advocate for amplifying the “voice of the nurse”. She is a member and Missouri’s co-chair for The Commission on Nursing Reimbursement focused on solving the nationwide nurse staffing concerns and nursing shortage. She is also a nurse liaison for the Missouri Nurse’s Association Political Action Committee representing the voice and interests of professional nurses in Missouri to advance legislative and regulatory agendas. Heather is passionate about ensuring health systems and clinicians have the tools they need to deliver the highest quality care with a better experience to save more lives.
