Health IoT – Accelerating the Path from Promise to Impact

Abstract:

Healthcare is “moving home”. In this keynote address, in a fireside chat format, Dr Pat Quinlan and Tom Fee, CEO of Hippo@Home, will expand on the concept of Polymorphic Medicine, with IoT as an enabler. They will discuss the rapid evolution of the shift in healthcare focus from the “institution” to the individual’s home, and the capabilities which are necessary to make that effective, transformational change. The IoT Community can provide the technology to enable informed and motivated self-care combined with highly personalized and more effective clinical care. Virtual care is the future and IoT holds a key.
