The case for gender diversity

Session Abstract

ioteclipse.org logoBusinesses shouldn’t invest in gender diversity because it’s the “right” thing to do (though it is); they should invest because it is a business imperative. Greater diversity creates a strong competitive advantage for companies, driving innovation, reducing risk, creating more resilient cultures, and boosting financial performance. In this session, Tanis Cornell and Jennifer Carter make a compelling case for why companies must invest in increasing and sustaining diversity in order to thrive – and even survive – in the future. They’ll also share what moves the needle – and what won’t. As part of the Women in IoT CoE Culture and Business Acumen subgroups we bring EWF International a Dallas-based leadership accelerator dedicated to increasing the representation of women in the C-Suite.
